Coach Gai Pin

Gai Pin started Rhythmic Gymnastics when she was 8 and has won multiple medals in a plethora of national competitions. Amongst her many achievements as a gymnast, she has brought glory to her state - Perak by crowning the Group Exercise Silver in SUKMA 2014.

The experiences that Gai Pin gained as a gymnast has encouraged and motivated her to become a coach at a very young age. Gai Pin started coaching at the age of 15 and throughout her coaching journey, she finds enjoyment and contentment when she sees the achievements of her girls, when hard work pays off. She is currently pursuing her tertiary education in NUS but her passion for rhythmic gymnastics never ceased henceforth decided to join DGA as a part-time coach in late November 2021 whilst studying abroad.

Gai Pin hopes to share her experiences and knowledge in rhythmic gymnastics to the girls, which has played a crucial role in her life as it helped to shape her into a better person. She wishes the same for the girls besides helping them to spark interest and fulfill their passion for rhythmic gymnastics. “By teaching you will learn and by learning you will teach”, Gai Pin is looking forward to starting her coaching journey in DGA to learn from both coaches and gymnasts in DGA!
