Germaine is an accomplished rhythmic gymnast who has participated in both national and international competitions. Starting gymnastics at the age of 8, she has won numerous medals and trophies over her 8 years as a competitive gymnast. Some of which include winning gold for the individual all around for level 4 at the 2017 and 2018 National School Games (NSG) and silver for the level 5 group event during the 2019 NSG.
After ending her journey as a competitive gymnast, Germaine has moved into the field of modern and contemporary dance. Despite this change, Germaine still wished to give back to the rhythmic gymnastics (RG) community. As such, with the knowledge and experience she has gained over the years, Germaine decided to embark on her journey with D’ Gymnastique Academy (DGA) as a part-time coach.
To Germaine, rhythmic gymnastics is more than just a sport. RG was where she forged life-long friendships, made unforgettable memories and where she was instilled with moral values that has shaped her to be the person she is today. Having had her share of what RG was like growing up, Germaine wishes to provide the same if not an even better experience for the girls at DGA. She hopes to make rhythmic gymnastics fun and fulfilling for the gymnasts so that they may one day find themselves filled with love and appreciation for this sport
